Kate Spade Pop Love Collection
Kate Spade is the queen of cute and her Pop Love designs take a unique slant on saying I love you. The designs include an eye, a
heart and a U which are used in a graphic design on several bags, on a keychain and decorating a bright red iPod case.
The small manuela, shown here is a zippered case with double handles and three interior zip pockets. The bag sells for
$80.

This bag is just a copy of the great Italian designer Fornasetti. Once again, not an original thought in Kates head...or in her line. It's all in the marketing. And the sheep just keep on coming.

I agree, another lame attempt by Kate Spade.
Rebecca Feb 8th 2006 10:51AM
I agree with both of you. It's not an example of forward thinking. It looks like something I could buy at Target.

I want it. I am leaving my computer set to it in case my boyfriend walks by. it is just so tacky. and i'm far to old for it. and the use of "u" in place of "you drives me nuts. i hope i get one! MAYBE I'LL JUST HIT NORDSTROMS ON TEH WAY HOME FROM PICKING UP THE KIDS.

This bag is a sad, very sad, rip off of the famed LuLu Guinness designs. I adored Kate but she hasn't had a good idea in a long time.

I couldn't agree more about the lack of originality with Kate Spade. She's ridiculously overpriced from her handbags to her bedding to her china.

Would a grown woman actually buy this bag? It's one of the ugliest bags I've ever seen... unless you're 12 you'd look ridiculous carrying this thing around.

This bag is just Sad I could fine a better one at Target It belongs at Wal Mart. The price is way over what its worth and the design is something my 10 year old cousin wouldn't carry because she has better taste at her young age. I've never been a fan of her designs and this just put the last nail in the coffin for me. She needs her designer card revoked.

This bad is not unique, it is tacky and just outright ugly. It looks like something from the tolietries bags in the cosmetics departments at Target or Walmart, no wait - they also have some better designs than this! She really is just hype when it comes to her design ability...this is so ugly a teenager would not like it either.
Carla Feb 8th 2006 1:32PM
I was unaware until now that one could actually buy garbage online.
Rich Feb 8th 2006 1:32PM
Kitten if he doesn't let me know and I'll get it for you! ;)
Tracy Johnson Feb 8th 2006 3:39PM
Ahh, these comments are making me chuckle. This IS a bad bag. Very Target, I agree. What was Kate thinking?
bree Feb 8th 2006 3:51PM
i LOVE it!!! it's verryy cute and only $80!!
Cheryl Feb 8th 2006 3:55PM
Hey, lay off of Target!!! Sometimes they have nice stuff. I would say that this bag is more K-Mart or Party City (as part of a Halloween costume). I wonder what it costs and which celebrity (Paris??) will be the first to show their "good" taste by waving it around in public?
Micah O'Connell Feb 8th 2006 7:37PM
This has got to be the fugliest bag ever created.
Brenda Feb 8th 2006 8:09PM
You know, I'm from the country, but I even know good looking from bad. I had rather put my $80.00 bucks on food for my dogs and cats and chickens. I could make that ugly thing myself. But, the things I make are much prettier. And yes, I can sell them. Poor woman, she must have not had her firewall up on her brain the day she made that one. lol lol Better luck next time.
Ashley Feb 8th 2006 8:55PM
You seem to all be looking at this as an actually purse. It's a cosmetic bag, and is part of her valentines day collection. I think it's really cute for someone to buy you as a little something.
Elly Feb 8th 2006 9:30PM
Gosh I hate Kate Spade, her bags are so boring or ugly.
Niki Feb 8th 2006 9:51PM
GAG! I was just reading about some of the most gag-inducing jobs (port-a-potty cleaner, anyone?) and the need to add KATE SPADE Seamstress to the list. I don't think my daughter would like this. And I agree Target has better stuff. (Except for there own Kate Spade housewares line full of the blown up gerbera daisy on plates and pillows, that was old in 1994).
Margo Feb 8th 2006 9:55PM
As a cosmetic bag - cute - I would use it - but the price would have to be re done - no way @ $80......and never as a hand bag - would not be caught dead with it -
