At the Paris Airshow last
year
Bombardier unveiled a cabin mockup of their next generation
CSeries aircraft. The CSeries planes were to be
110-130 seat planes with broader seats and armrests for the middle passenger and larger windows at every seat. It
sounded like a good plan but Bombardier announced today that "present market conditions do not justify the launch
of the CSeries program at this time." Bombardier will have the former CSeries team focus on regional
airlines’ future needs in the 80- to 100-seat aircraft market.
