Vincent Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka

Van Gogh Vodka makes a wide variety of vodka flavors including chocolate, mojito mint and espresso vodka but they must have decided their espresso was too tame because they recently added a caffeinated, coffee-flavored spirit called Double Espresso Double Caffeine Vodka. According to the company it is the first kind to be made with caffeine and one shot of the spirit equals three espresso shots. The vodka has a 35-percent alcohol-by-volume (abv) and retails for $30 a 750-ml. bottle. Now you don't have to rely on a Red Bull and vodka to keep you awake late into the night.

This vodka is fantastic. It's perfect on the rocks and really is a dark brown color. Very smooth and delicious. I've always appreciated Vincent Van Gogh's unique flavors but this one is seriously in a league of it's own. I wouldn't be surprised if other makers eventually release knockoffs. The only downside is finding it in stores. I had it last weekend at a Russian-esque vodka bar in Atlantic City. If you see it, buy it.
