Monies Jewelry

Monies is a jewelry line created by Gerda and Nicolai Monies of Denmark. Their handmade pieces use natural materials including semi-precious stones, wood and bone. Many of their necklaces are thick layers of beads and shapes that cluster around the neck like this layer contraption of 32 strands of tiny shell beads accented with mother-of-pearl cross charms. The necklace sells for $700 at Vivre along with a variety of other Monies necklaces and bracelets.

I love this piece - with the white on white. I have to

admit that for

my personal taste it's a tad on the large size, but cut the number

of strands in half and I'd wear this in a NY minute.
