Amour de Deutz Champagne
Although it's about celebration for New Year's Eve. champagne
is also default romance and so go for the full cupid effect with Amour de Deutz, a cuvée from Deutz Champagne.
Deutz is a house created in the 1830s by a couple of Germans and it was sold to Roederer a while back. The Amour de
Deutz is a Blanc de Blancs, bright bubbly with a golden color and a taste of light fruit. The champagnes aren't as well
known at the Roederer vintages but are at least as charming. The 1995 sells for $209.
