The latest Shangri-La
resort is located in the Gulf of Oman. Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort
and Spa is set in 124 acres of landscaped gardens and the resort will include three luxury hotels, a private beach,
CHI Spa, swimming pools and five tennis courts. The three hotels within the resort will be known as Al Waha, Al
Bandar and Al Husn: The Castle, a boutique-style hotel, The Town, a five-star hotel and The Village, the largest
hotel, designed for families. A stream connects the swimming pools between hotels letting guests travel on small boats
from one hotel to another. The resort is set to open in mid-January with the entire resort open by April 2006. The
Sultanate of Oman is making a big push to turn the scenic area into a popular tourism

Looks gr8! and i can't wait to go in the summer!im going for 4 weeks in al husin and then im off to the burg al arab in dubai - then the madives! isn't it gr8 having a manchester united player as a husband heh?
