were the fastest-growing Internet shopping category last month and buyers are more and more comfortable buying online.
Among the websites hoping for a little deadline magic is diamond dealer Blue Nile which last year had a man buy an
engagement ring 14 minutes before the shipping deadline for Christmas. With Christmas on a Sunday this year, many
online stores are offering shipping by Christmas as long as you order on Friday morning.
