Tom Ford's New Mexico Plans Hit A Snag
Turns out not everything in Tom Ford's life is totally perfect. According to this article in the Free New Mexican, the sexy designer is redesigning his proposed Santa Fe mansion after comments from neighbors. Ford told the Santa Fe Historic Design Review Board that after meeting with neighbors he has agreed to shrink his new planned home. But don't expect Ford to truly downsize, his plan only reduces the footprint of his proposal from 17,147 to 16,467 square feet (and he is taking out one garage bay). At the board meeting six people spoke in objection to the plan and four spoke in favor. The board will officially vote on his proposal on Feb. 14. Harsh words for Ford's new palace included calling it a "Wal-Mart perched on a hill." Now that's a way to hit the former Gucci designer below the belt.
