Frontier Airlines Flyer Miles Boutique

Here's an interesting idea, you can do your holiday shopping using your frequent flier miles. Frontier Airlines runs The More Store which has items up for auction but instead of paying cash, you pay miles. Gifts includes a Montegrappa Ferrari Red pen, a $1,000 gift certificate to Colorado Ski and Golf, custom designed jewelry from John Atencio and a signed Colorado Avalanche jersey. The boutique definitely has a Colorado slant (Frontier is Denver based) but if you've been logging in the heavy miles heading to the ski slopes this is a great reward. Last time I looked the bid for the Montegrappa Ferrari pen shown here (value approximately $1,500) was at 43,500 miles.
