Trump Shows Off $125 Million Home For Sale

We've got to hand it to Trump, he knows how to get interest going in a house. As we mentioned earlier, he's selling what could be the most expensive home in the United States, a $125  million home in Palm Beach. Trump gave tours of the home, the former Gosman estate this weekend. The eight bedroom home has been Trumpified with new stone stairs and a marble fountain but it isn't completely finished. And this article in the Palm Beach Daily News gives us another square footage number to ponder. They say the home was originally 68,000 square feet (which is on target with 60,000+ footage number Braden Keil mentioned in the NY Post back in October) which includes a basement that could be turned into a theater, storage or staff rooms and the 80-car garage will be reduced to only hold 36 cars. The pool is still under construction and the cottages are also being renovated. Only qualified buyers with a net worth of more than $25 million were invited to the preview and there are a couple of potential buyers. We are hoping whoever buys it gets in there with a tape measure and figures out once and for all what the square footage is.
