Diamond iPod Nano Case
Sure, the case probably weighs more than the Nano itself, thereby defeating the purpose of its lighter-than-light
charm but if you need your new Nano all blinged-up this is the case. It has 586 diamonds (a total of 10.36 carats) set
in white gold. The case costs $12,495 and will be shown at the International Gem and Jewelry Show in Chicago this
weekend and in Virginia next weekend. It would be a cuter if it at least had a chain or a clip.

The swarovski decoration craze is on its peak, whether it is Xbox 360 swarovski faceplate - http://www.bornrich.org/entry/swarovski-xbox-360-faceplate/ or this ipod nano case.
But, this nano cover costing way more then the ipod itself is becoming really excessive...!

Although not shown in the picture, there is a clip on the back of the diamond iPOD case.

As a designer of iPod cases myself, I sometimes wonder if covering an iPod with diamonds represents any true degree of design creativity. In designing my cases, I tried to reinvent the Nano with a handstitched cases that features a spring-loaded precious metal belt clip. Without seeming to shamelessly promote my design (and with the concurrence of the blogger's moderater) I'd be glad to share a peek at my design here:
