Just when I'm getting over the shock of a $10,000 gold ring at Wal-Mart, I'm alerted to a rather expensive watch at Costco. The Cartier Santos 100 is an 18k yellow gold men's watch featuring a brown alligator strap, a crystal sapphire face and a silver dial. How expensive is it? $13,499.99. Remember this is Costco.  Will Wal-Mart and Costco change the way we shop for luxury items?
