Another List of Pricey Cocktails

We mentioned a few break-the-bank cocktails last month and now there is another list of ultra pricey drinks rounded up by UPI. The first comes from the Teatro Euro Bar in the MGM Grand Las Vegas which serves a High Limit Kir Royale, a souped-up version of the popular apertif, which combines Champagne, 140-year old Cognac and raspberries for $2,200. There is another diamond cocktail, this one from the Sheraton Park Tower Hotel in London which offers a Louis XIII Diamond Cocktail: Champagne, Angostura bitters, sugar and Cognac and a one-carat diamond ring for $7,200. The aptly named Liquid Luxury comes from the Bar Giardino d'Inverno at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan (shown here) and contains Grand Marnier Cuvee du Cent Cinquantenaire and rare wild Sicilian berries for $4,225 a glass.
