18K White Gold Ring at Wal-Mart
Is Wal-Mart trying to lure more upscale shoppers? We mentioned back in April that the company was going to court upscale shoppers and it appears that time has come. Wal-Mart is offering this 18K Gold Ring on their website. The 1-3/4 carat diamond ring features a 1-1/2 carat, square-cut fancy-yellow grade center diamond framed by white diamonds. The price? $9,988.00. Might as well call it 10 grand. 10 grand and Wal-Mart. Just doesn't sound right, does it?

Wow walmart selling high end jewelry? That just doesn't make any sense to me. I can't see people who prefer high quality jewelry going to walmart to get it. Walmart is trying to do it all. www.chapelhillsjewelry.com is a site that I just bought an engagement ring from and it was one of the better buying expereinces I have had on the over the web. Could you imagine telling your girl friend you bought her engagment ring from wal mart?
