Tejon Mountain Village

Tejon Ranch Company has announced an ambitious project, the Tejon Mountain Village, a  residential/resort community planned for Kern County California near the 5 freeway. It's not an area one would necessarily think of for a resort community but the plans for Tejon Mountain Village involving turning it into a "world-class resort community" with homes ranging from lakeside cabins to mountain and equestrian estates.  To do this they have now partnered up with DMB, a company that has created a variety of resort communities including Silverleaf.  The plan also includes small resort hotels, championship golf courses, hiking and equestrian trails, and lakeside amenities. The developers promise that the plan will be environmentally sensitive.
