The Google Guys Buy a Boeing 767

They may not be driving around in Maybachs but that doesn't mean Google's founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page don't know how to travel in style. According to this article, the duo has purchased a used Boeing 767-200. The plane is a bit larger than your standard executive jet. The jet can hold 180 passengers. Don't look for that many on a Google flight. The plane is going through a major refurbish and will only hold about 50 passengers. It is expected that the interior will have a sitting area, two staterooms, a sitting-and-dining area and 12 to 16 first-class seats.  It is thought that the plane may have cost around $15 million, making it a bit of a bargain if they are actually tote around 50 passengers at a time. The Google duo bought the plane themselves and plan to use it for personal travel possibly including some of their philanthropic pursuits. Rumor has it that Gore Design in San Antonio is working on the plane.
