Gold Calendars for Sale in Japan
According to Mainichi Daily News, a Ginza, Japapn jewelry shop is offering a gold calendar for 20.06 million yen (approx $175,440). The 2006 calendar is one millimeter thick and is poster sized. It was made to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the store's business card-sized golden calendars. The weekdays are in blue and the holidays and Sundays are in red. I'm not sure what you would do with it at year's ends, maybe melt it down for the new year.
