Zenith Grande Classe Traveler Repetition Minutes Watch
The Zenith Grande Class Traveler Repetition Minutes watch is a beautiful new watch that recently made it onto the
Robb Report's
list of luxury objects for 2006. It is one of the most complicated watches ever made. The elaborate timepiece is
made of 18K rose gold and features the new El Primero 4031 automatic chronograph movement with minute repeater, alarm
(vibrating or buzzer), dual time, large date and triple power reserve indicators (movement, alarm and minute repeater).
It chimes different sounds on the hour, minutes and quarter hour. The watch has sapphire crystals on both the front and
back. It creates 36'000 vibrations per hour and measures short time intervals to a 10th of a second. Such does not come
cheap, they only plan to make three of these watches per year and each is expected to sell for around 800,000 francs
(over $626,000).
