Kamalaya
A new destination spa, centered on a cave temple that once served Buddhist monks is opening in Thailand this November. Kamalaya is a collection of 60 villas, bungalows and hillside rooms located on the island of Koh Samui on 10 acres of south-facing beachfront property. There is a holistic wellness center that will offer western medicine, traditional Thai and Chinese medicine, naturopathy, and Ayurveda, as well as yoga and gi gong. Each guest is offered an initial health evaluation as well as a pre-departure consultation. Beachside villas start at a little over $400 per night and the room rates include breakfast, lunch and dinner according to your individual health reccomendations at the Soma Restaurant.
