Brooks Brothers Custom Suit

Each year Brooks Brothers does a series of ultimate holiday gifts. They are no Neiman Marcus but there are some extravagant ideas. Like last year, they are offering the tie tree and there are also ticket packages for the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Threepenny Opera. They are also offering the ultimate Brooks Brothers outfit, a made-to-order suit. This suit will be made from a fabric that is a blend of super 200s merino wool and worsted spun Mongolian cashmere. It is so rare that it will be individually woven for each customer when the order is placed, with each gentleman's name woven into the selvedge of the fabric. The fabric is woven by master weavers on 100-year old looms in Huddersfield, England.  The suit takes six months, costs $14,500 and there is only enough of the rare fabric for six suits.
