Salacia Yacht
Marian over at BYM News recently checked out the yachts at the Genoa Boat Show and found a beauty. Amidst the sea of white yachts with large outdoor dining areas, she spotted this beauty, the Salacia. The Salacia is the first of a Sports Classic range from Australian Evolution yachts. It is a blue 110 foot yacht with a pared down style that is more comfortable than minimalist. She notes that one of the interesting things about this yacht is that instead of having a large aft deck dining area the dining room is inside, behind curved glass doors. The yacht has two cabins with twin beds and en suite facilities and the owner's cabin which has another cabin next to it that can serve as either an owner's sitting room, or another cabin. Marian reports that none of the spaces seems as large as on other yachts of comparable size due to the large quarters allotted for captain and crew. The Salacia can cruise at 22 knots. It's a great looking yacht but I wonder if the lack of outdoor space might keep people from wanting to make this one their own. The yacht is being brokered by Nigel Burgess.
