Now Everyone Can Be A Dealer Mini Art Gallery
It's like a piece of a doll house for grown-up art snobs. Artists maurizio cattelan, ali subotnick, and massimiliano gioni have released a new project for cerealart: a 1:6 scale model of their New York art gallery, The Wrong Gallery. The replica is made of resin, glass, aluminum and steel and is designed with a door and electric light. it measures 18" x 11" x 2" and hangs on the wall. Mini versions of exhibitions for the gallery will be sold separately. The piece will debut at artbasel in December 2005 but you can pre-order through unicahome for $1000. The series is limited to 2500 pieces and the price will go up to $1200 on November 15.
