Trump Plans To Sell $125 Million House
Leave it to the Trumpster to try and blow the roof off an already
heated real estate market. Donald Trump is planning to sell a Palm Beach mansion for $125 million. The mansion was the
project for last year's winner of The Apprentice, Kendra
Todd. The property goes on the market November 1. The home has 43,000 square feet of space, including
seven bedrooms, on six oceanfront acres. The
Palm Beach Daily News reports that
they believe the buyer will probably be from the Northeast and that two New York agencies, including Prudential Douglas
Elliman, will have the listing. The Corcoran Group is already setting up two showings, for a U.S. billionaire and a
wealthy celebrity (guesses anyone?). The realtors seem to think it will sell quickly even though, as we have seen,
houses at the highest end of the market often take a while to go (last time we checked
Updown Court is still up for sale). Trump bought the
house at auction last year for $41.35 million and it has
been extensively renovated since then.

Is it 7 bedrooms or 17? 43,000 SF or 60,000 SF? The NY Post and the Palm Beach Post seem to disagree. Do you have any insight on that?
Thanks.

I tend to go with the Palm Beach Post on this one since this is the same info I saw on Forbes (http://www.luxist.com/entry/1234000660020954/) when Trump originally picked up the house. The sq. footage varies depending on what gets qualified as living space (guest houses etc.) I guess we will have to wait a few more days for the official number on the MLS listing.
