Wenzel SAZ Ruster Ausbruch 2001 Dessert Wine

Winemonger, a new online store that specialize in Austrian wines alerted us to this gem. They must know my weakness for the sweet stuff because they chose a tempting dessert wine. The Wenzel SAZ Ruster Ausbruch 2001 is a golden dessert wine with notes of apricot and citrus. It uses  60% Furmint and 40% Muskateller grapes  was aged for 18 months in new wood. It was named as one of the 100 best wines in the world by Wine Enthusiast magazine. The "Saz" sells for $86.99.
