As we've seen recently the town of Oakville, outside of Toronto is one of the best places to spot Canadian mega-mansions. This new home sits on the lake and its peninsula location offers views of the lake and the Toronto skyline. The home has 11,000 sq ft and including six bedrooms, a home theater and an indoor pool/spa. Over-the-top details include a chandelier in the master bathroom, a tiki bar on the large deck and an in-law suite with a glass sitting room. It is listed at $13.9 million CDN (approximately $11.825 million U.S.)

Amazing design. This house seems huge but comfortable and tasteful. What a setting, too. The winters must suck, but when there's that much to do indoors, who cares?
