Skytrax's World Airline Awards 2005
London's Skytrax Research has awarded their 2005 World Airline Awards, in which they recognized airlines and airports are based the results of "the world's largest passenger surveys." They hand out awards in ten categories including best airlines, best airports, best cabin staff, best inflight entertainment, and best catering. A lot of names turn up again and again, particularly Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific (which got Best Airline and best First Class and Business Lounges), Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines. Continental is the only American airline, getting ninth place for Best Inflight Entertainment and second for Best Business Class Catering.
