iWood Nano

The accessories for the iPod nano are now coming at a feverous pace. If you want your iPod nano and nature to somehow blend together, the iWood nano has arrived (ships on October 20th). Carved from a single block of wood, you can choose walnut, maple, mahogany, pear, or wenge. A monogram of your choice can be engraved on the top and two line messages on the inside lid. The inside lid pictured here says "For Melinda with love, Bill". What's up with that?

From an email from them regarding pricing. Holy crap, they won't be cheap!

We'll also introduce the iWood Heritage line. Sometimes we can obtain small amounts of very rare wood, barely enough for two or three iWoods. The iWoods produced from this special wood will each be shown in the Heritage section. The iWood Heritage will have a serial number and a certificate with the known history of this particular piece of wood. For instance, we make iWoods from 200 year old extremely tough British oak. The iWood Heritage will be available from prices of $175 and up, depending on the exclusiveness of the wood and the production effort.

Pricing and availability
The iWood nano starts with �75/$90 plus shipping for the ecology friendly types of wood. Varieties include maple, pear, walnut and others.
Engraving the monogram and message each �10/$12.
iWood Heritage is available for $175 and up.
