Trump Takes On Dubai

It was only a matter of time: a charismatic man famous for risky moves and gleaming palaces of opulence and a place where an entire world full of islands is being created out of the sea. It's a match made in development heaven. The NY Post reports that Donald Trump has joined up with Dubai group Nakeel to build towers off the Dubai coast, some of them actually on the islands of The World. Trump's first projects will be in the The Palm Jumeirah and the 50-story Palm Trump International Hotel & Tower is supposed to look like a golden palm seed. It's every bit as tacktacular as I would have imagined.
