The Daily Telgraph reports that the world's most expensive face cream has just gone on sale in Britain. The new product, The Essence comes from the fine folks at Creme de la Mer who have a long history of expensive skin creams. The Esssence costs £1,500 ($2,654). The treatment lasts three weeks and is supposed to go on under the Creme de la Mer face cream. When used twice per year, it promises to reduce lines and minimize pores. Over 100 have already been sold at Harrods. It comes in three vials in a magnetized box and contains a variety of exotic ingredients including sea parsley and essence of narcissus. Snake oil or ultimate non-surgical miracle? All I know is that at this price it better be teenager in a bottle.
