Javelin's First Flight

It flies! We've been obsessively tracking the progress of ATG's superfast, supersleek Javelin as it goes through the process from design to production. Now another important milestone has been reached. Aero-News reports that the Javelin has completed its maiden flight. The much-anticipated jet took off from Centennial Airport and flew for 30 minutes.  The flight is just the start of extensive testing for this plane.The prototype hit a maximum airspeed of 180 knots and reached an altitude of 12,000 feet.
