Chatsworth Estate
This month's Town and Country magazine features the beautiful Chatsworth mansion, a unique destination in Derbyshire, England. Town and Country highlighted the Hunting Tower, a building that was built in the 16th Century and has been revamped. There is one large room on each of the floors and there is a narrow staircase with 82 steps. It has views over the entire countryside. The Chatsworth Estate was featured in the new movie "Pride and Prejudice" and many believe that Jane Austen's description of Pemberley House is based on the appearance of Chatsworth as it was in the early 19th century. Chatsworth runs their Christmas celebration from November 5 to December 21 and includes decorations, shops, and musical performances.
