Millionaire Fair in Moscow

millionaire fair

The Times Online covers Moscow's first Millionaire Fair, an exhibition of luxury goods and services. Russian shoppers have been flocking to the event to ogle speedboats, cars, fine crystal and other luxury items. The crowd attracted the business elite, people in government, artists and actors. According to the article someone bought an island for $10 million and another person was interested in purchasing the "Moscow" island of The World. A well-bred Turkmen horse was sold for $1.5 million and a  businessman paid $2,000 in cash, on the spot, for a bottle of 1965 Macallan single malt. We hope the big spenders have some cash left over, there is another luxury exhibition scheduled in October.
