El Diamante del Cielo Tequila

el diamante del cielo

Blavod Extreme Spirits has announced that they will make and market a new tequila through Diamante Spirits, a joint venture between Blavod and Suntroy. El Diamante del Cielo (Diamond in the Sky) will be available in the United States in 2006. Blavod already makes Blavod Black Vodka and Players Extreme vodkas and rums.  The new tequila will be tested in the States in October. There will be three versions of El Diamante del Cielo - Blanco, Reposado and Anejo and they will use 100% pure Blue Waeber Agave grown in the Jalisco region of Mexico. The tequila is bottled on an estate deep in the heart of Mexico. The Blanco goes straight from distillation to bottle, the Reposado is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 60 days and up to one year. The Reposado is bottled on the 364th day of aging, the last day possible and has a  vanilla and caramel taste. The Anejos are sealed by the government for at least one year and the El Diamante del Cielo Anejo is aged up to four years for a buttery and spicy sipping tequila.
