• Mike Mignola, creator of the Hellboy comic, has bought in Manhattan Beach for $2.4 million

• Samuel L. Jackson has bought a $4.8 million Upper East Side apartment
• Garry Trudeau and Jane Pauley bought a triplex that was listed at $3.85 million
• Diandra Douglas, ex-wife of Michael Douglas has paid $5.45 for a five-story townhouse on East 71st Street
