Trump isn't the only one planning big things on the Palos Verdes peninsula in Southern California. Lowe Enterprises has unveiled plans for Terranea Resort, a luxury resort and spa in Rancho Palos Verdes. The PV peninsula has long been a secluded seaside community. The $320 million development will be set on 102 acres and should open in winter of 2008. It will be on a bluff with ocean views. The resort will feature 400 rooms, including 40 bungalows. There will also be three swimming pools,a 25,000 sq. ft. spa, golf academy, children's center, restaurants and retail space. And of course, there will be Co-tel options. There are plans for 32 private Ocean Villas and 50 Ocean Casitas ranging in size from 1,700 to 2,790 square feet.
