Winfield Hall
Winfield Hall is the former Woolworth mansion in Glen Cove, NY. Built in 1917, the huge marble manor has lingered on
the market for $20 million and is now reduced to $18.9 million. The over 16 acre property can't be subdivided and there
are restrictions on usage. I wasn't able to find recent interior shots of the mansion and it seems like it may have
fallen into some disrepair. There are even rumors
that it may be haunted. More information
about the house including the allegations that Woolworth practiced the "black arts" there can be found in a
book written on the subject. Ghost house or just
a beautiful old home fallen on hard times?
