Wine Tasting to Benefit Hurricane Katrina Victims
Wineries that are members of the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance have collaborated on fundraising efforts starting this Labor Day weekend to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The goal is to raise $100,000 dollars, or more, for relief efforts in the devastated region. The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance website has a list of the various vineyards and their special efforts. Many vineyards including Bonny Doon Vineyard, J. Lohr Vineyard and Peachy Canyon Vineyards are donating some or all of their tasting room fees while others are donating a percentage of the profits.
