Phil Donahue and Margot Thomas Put Their Connecticut Home On The Market
Following up on our post on the Sasco Point house, helpful reader Jim pointed out that Westport residents Phil
Donahue and Marlo Thomas recently put their Greens Farms mansion on the market for $25 million. According to the
article in Westport Now, Donahue and Thomas plan to stay in the area. The estate is three separate lots which are a
total of 7.7 acres. The home is a 7,379-sq.ft. 1911 wood and stucco Tudor with 17 rooms, including nine
bedrooms. There is also a guest house. The
listing doesn't reveal anything of
the interior of the house unfortunately and this picture is as close to the house as it gets.
[Thanks, Jim]

Hi, I grew up watching Phil Donahue...I really enjoyed his talk show most of the time...not always but most of the time. It was often thought provoking. I had to walk away from Phil Donahue and did not ever tune into him on the MSNBC time slot that he might have filled very nicely. I continue to blame Phil Donahue for encouraging Ralph Nadar and his third party run against Gore and the fool who now sits in the White House. That thrid party run just stole enough votes to allow Katherine Harris and her gang of real fools to put Little George Bush in the White House. Then when it was time to try again, the religeous right, the greedy who enjoyed a tax break that they neither needed nor deserved, and the extremely fearful put him, the fool, in for a second term. Now, did you watch Little George in INACTION as Katrina approached? Phil...Phil...Phil...you handed Little George the White House with your support of Nadar and NOW look what will happen to the Supreme Court. Sorry Phil, Bill O'Reilly is a real whacco but you handed the White House to the FAR right.

One of the best media broadcasts I've ever seen (besides Al Gore's speech at NYU)! It simultaneously informs/performs/causes/exposes many issues, truths and thoughts. Journalism's finest! What a hero! You are our New Mother Theresa!
