Courtney Love's Real Estate Drama at 30 Crosby
A while back we mentioned that Forbes reported that
Courtney Love had sold her loft at 30 Crosby Street in New York City. Apparently we spoke too soon, not only is
the place still on the
market but the New York Daily News reports that Love hasn't been paying her mortgage recently. Now, Love, who is on
her way back to rehab after failing a drug test, is facing foreclosure. Mercury Capital Corp. has filed a lawsuit
because Love hasn't paid the $30,000 mortgage for two months. Love has a $1.5 million mortgage and also borrowed
another $1.5 million so she owes $3 million. What is it with this building? Lenny Kravitz's
loft for $12.9 million
still lingers on the market (at least eight months and counting).
