Those Bling-Heavy Williams Sisters
Tennis divas, the Williams sisters, have been making the news at the U.S. Open not just for their play but for their jewelry. Serena's diamond chandelier earring (one of a $40,000) tumbled from her ear and Venus also removed her earrings but wore a layered pearl, turquoise and diamond necklace in her match. Serena, who wore five carat earrings at Wimbledon, plans to continue wearing the gems and says they just fell out because she put them on in a hurry. The earrrings are from Los Angeles jeweler Erica Courtney who is a frequent red-carpet favorite for her glittering designs.
