Six Senses Earth Spa
The Evanson Hideaway at Hua Hin recently unveiled the Earth Spa, a spa that is a collection of nine rounded
mud and stray dome buildings. The buildings, some with walls up to 31 inches thick are built in a traditional Thai
style. Thre are four treatment rooms with private outdoor Jacuzzi, two steam rooms, a meditation cave and a relaxing
area. The Earth Spa uses a menu of specialty treatments that focus on Skin Food, the idea that nothing should be put
onto the skin that you can't put in your mouth. Many of the ingredients used in the treatments such as rice, coconut,
avocado, papaya and lime are actually grown at the Evason Hideaway. The treatments also center on the balance of
the four elements and use traditional treatments such as Ayurveda and Chinese medicine. You can also stay at Spa
Suites, which feature a massage sala beside the private pool, open style bathroom with a bathtub sunken into a lotus
pond or garden, shower and steam room.
