Clipper Around-The-World Race
The Clipper 05/06 race is an around-the-world adventure for ten vessels that will set sail from Liverpool on
September 18. The ships are all identical to make certain that the race is won on ability. What's interesting about
this race is that only the skipper is a professional. The crews are formed of volunteers who have paid to join the
adventure. The race is split into six sections of six-to-eight weeks and to participate volunteers pay £6,000
-£6,800 per leg including training. The entire race will take around a year to complete. The boat shown here Glasgow:
