Le Petit Trianon
One of San Francisco's most beautiful homes Le Petit Trianon is on the market. The home, located in Presidio Heights, was designed to resemble Le Petit Trianon at Versailles. The home is approximately 18,000 sq. ft. with eight bedrooms, an elevator and a billiards room. Opulent details include an entrance rotunda with black and white marble walls and a dome in white and gold, conservatories with murals, a marble columned atrium in the center of the home topped with stained glass, Baccarat chandeliers and a grand staircase. The home was built in 1904 and still has its original mirrored white and gold ballroom. The property has been designated as both a San Francisco and a National Historic Landmark. It is listed at $22.8 million (far more than another replica of Le Petit Trianon which recently sold in Bel-Air for $13 million).
