CRN Explorer
This may look like the designs for a merchant ship but it's actually the plan for a luxury yacht. CRN's steel and aluminum Explorer is a 60-meter yacht designed to cruise at 14 knots. Designed to accommodate up to 16 guests and 21 crew, the yacht has a main deck that is almost entirely uncovered and sits close to the water. The Explorer is designed with three main zones, a public zone which is most of the outdoor space, including two showers on either side of the vessel and a lunch area which can seat 35. The second part of the boat is a private area for the owner. The ship-owner's suite, in the bow portion of the main deck includes a private studio connected to a hatch that opens up to create a private terrace on the sea. The ship-owner's panoramic zone includes a living room in the upper deck, sundeck , exercise room and sauna. The third portion of the yacht is for the crew with a roomy kitchen and service areas. The CRN website has more renderings including the plans for the monumental open stern area.
