DaimlerChrysler Announces Winner of Zany "What Can You HEMI?" Contest!
Daimler Chrysler had a "What Can You
Hemi?" contest earlier this year which challenged anyone to come up with a creative use for their famous
5.7-liter, 340+horsepower HEMI V8. We were very impressed with what Chrysler came up with to get the ball rolling.
Chrysler came up with a crazy idea, the HEMI-Grille. The oversized barbeque is finished in stainless and diamond plate.
The alternator and battery of the V8 is up front which drives an electric motor to warm powerful heating elements.
There is enough power and space to cook up 240 hot dogs in less than three minutes. There's also a gas pedal, which the
motor-head chef can blip to hear the rumble of the big-bore V8. No word on whether or not you can purchase the grill.
Who won the contest? Check it out

BBQ Grill Dec 18th 2005 5:46PM
This is a winner!!! My friend was feeling pretty special about his BBQ grill setup but he needs to go back to the drawing board after seeing this. Maybe a turbine powered BBQ grill with a web interface for remote control and a live webcam and meat tempature reading device to make this the world first grill controlled over the internet. He could put all of his Christmas light technology to work in the off season...
