The Dole Wellness Center, Spa and Hotel

USA Today recently reported on the luxury hotel, wellness center and spa being created by Dole Foods. Dole, famous for their pineapple, is creating a 270-room luxury hotel that will include spa and medical facilities that will offer a variety of services ranging from standard spa treatments to the latest anti-aging regimens. The California Health and Longevity Institute will run the medical facility offering diagnostic tests and cosmetic procedures. The 35,000-square-foot spa and the hotel will be managed by Four Seasons. The project, which broke ground in 2004, is the mission of David Murdock, the Dole Food chairman who is interested in health and longevity.
