Russo and Steele Sports and Muscle at the Marriott Auction
et another reason for car collectors to head to Monterey in August. Scottsdale-based auctioneers Russo & Steele
will be having their "Sports and Muscle at the Marriott" on August 20. There will be a variety of classic cars up
for bid including two ex-Shelby Cobras including the 1965 Shelby 427 Competition Cobra Type 65 Daytona 'Super Coupé'.
The other ex-Shelby Cobra is a roadster, that was one of three 1963 competition Cobras raced by Shelby American. Other
cars up for bid include a Targa Florio class-winning 1966 Alfa Romeo GTA, a 1968 Trans Am Javelin and a 1967 Ferrari
330 GTS. There is no reserve on any cars in the auction and all of the cars will be sold.
