Yacht Port Cartagena Welcomes the Rising Sun
When we learned that one of our favorite yachts, the Rising Sun was moving to a new locale we were curious about the marina big enough for this sailing behemoth. Cartagena is a new marina in Spain designed to provide berthing for luxury yachts in the Mediterranean. The marina includes a social club and all moorings have satellite TV and high-speed internet in addition to the usual marine services. According to the Cartagena website the largest mooring is for a 120 meter boat (and costs a cool $4.32 million euros) so we are assuming special arrangments were made to accomodate the 138 meter Rising Sun.
