Natirar Resort Gets the Go-Ahead
Richard Branson's plans for a luxury hotel-spa at Natirar, the 491-acre estate once owned by the king of Morocco seem to be a go. The Virgin Spa at Natirar in Somerset County, New Jersey won approval from the township's land-use board.It will be the first of Virgin's "limited edition" resorts in the United States. Now work on restoring the mansion can begin. Groundbreaking will take place in November and the project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2007. The resort will be a luxury destination spa and rooms will start around $450 to $500.
