Mario Batali's Favorite New York Eateries

Well, after posting about Mario Batali a few days back, I just couldn't get him off my mind. So, from the award-winning chef himself, here are his top three restaurants in New York City in his own words.

Blue Ribbon - "A classic chef's hangout for their great raw bar, their turkey burger with cheese, and some of the great Rhones on the wine list."

Mesa Grill - "I love Mesa Grill, especially for their lunch on Tuesdays. I take my three-year-old son, Leo, who proclaims that it's his favorite place in town …. [Bobby Flay's] food is exactly what I feel like eating."

Ouest - "I have been a big fan of Tom Valenti for 10 years, and his new place is pitch-perfect. There is nothing on his menu that does not merit a rave."
